Win a test drive? I thought you just walked into the showroom, found the salesman and be like “hi, I’m thinking about a new 370z” and then go from there.

I guess that is a valid point, normally I’m somewhat in the market when I’m looking so I’m not really wasting anyones time. I test drove the 1 series I ended up buying months before I actually bought it cause I wanted to drive a 1 cause my dad was looking at a 1 series.

BMW of San Antonio had a 2009 C63 and I was like I’ve never driven an AMG before, so I just went to drive it. It was only like $24k, but don’t need an M3 and a C63.

72.*
* I have no clue if it’s actually a 72, that’s the number that came to me.

1972 240z. You can tell because the silver is a slightly different than the previous- just kidding, Google Image Search. Take it with a grain of salt.

From that angle a 71 or 72. Its funny they ask because those two years are impossible to tell apart from this side view, especially from the non filler side. The vent emblem behind the rear side window is the only clue it’s not a 69/70, from this angle the little vents under the hatch glass on the 69/70 can’t be seen here. Some of the 71's had a chrome filler door knob, but not the 72's. Other than that you can’t tell a 70 from a 71.

Yeah I guess 74 was the only US 260 year, the 73 differences are only inside with the crap flat top Hitachi carbs. I don’t actually know anyone with a 73, all the owners I talk to here are 70-72.

I had a 73 when I was a teenager. Ended up putting an E31 head on it with some older SU carbs. It ran like a champ when it ran.

I’m pretty sure the guy in the comments with the cardomain is spot on it looks like the same picture.
But it is not a 69-70 as it has the Pillar emblems, and it is not a 73 as it has the body hugging bumpers, it is american spec since it has a side view mirror on the door. Wheels look like panasport.
Options are 71 or 72.
